Amber Onyx Tray · Organic Edge
Cut along the stone's own contour, Solana keeps the raw silhouette the mountain gave it. Rings of amber, honey and cream ripple out from the center, and every ring is a different century in the life of the stone. Polished to glass on the inside. Left ancient at the rim.

Green Fluorite Vessel · Statement Piece
A wave of sea green crystal frozen as it breaks. Marea is carved from a single block of Mexican fluorite, a stone that holds light the way water does and shifts from jade to ice with the hour. The glacial interior is entirely natural. We only reveal what was already there.

Onyx & Marble Chess Set
Thirty two pieces, sixty four squares, one block of mountain. Black marble faces honey veined onyx across a board where no two squares share the same grain. Against the evening sun the pale pieces glow from within. Only true onyx does that. An heirloom you can play.

Sculpted Leaf Vessel · Tri-Tone Onyx
Three strata of one stone. A dark heart, veins of burnt orange and wings of ivory, carved into the form of a falling leaf. Hoja is the most sculptural piece in the collection. It asks for the center of the table and it earns it.

White Onyx Catchall · Soft Form
Quiet luxury in its purest mineral form. The soft outline of Nube is carved from pale onyx ribboned with sage, smoke and faint gold. Low, smooth and cool to the touch, it turns keys and jewelry into still life.

From the mountain to your table
DecorStoneCraft is a small family workshop. We choose every block ourselves, carve it by hand and meet many of our collectors in person at California farmers markets.

Diamond saws follow the veins instead of fighting them. The stone decides its own silhouette.

Ground, hollowed and polished by hand over days, until the surface turns to glass and the light moves through it.

Caring for natural stone
A soft dry cloth is all it asks for. For deeper cleaning, a barely damp cloth and nothing else. Keep acids and harsh cleaners away and the polish will outlive us all.
Beauty in the imperfection
Veins, clouds and mineral freckles are not flaws. They are the record of a million years underground, and the reason your piece can never be repeated.

How much does a custom piece cost?
Every stone is different, so every price is. Tell us what you have in mind and we send you a quote before any commitment.
How long does a commission take?
Each piece is carved to order and good stone takes time. We confirm a timeline with you before we start, and keep you posted with photos as your piece takes shape.
How does shipping work?
Padded, insured and tracked, all over the country. If you are in Southern California you can also pick it up in person at one of the farmers markets we attend.
Is every piece really one of one?
Yes. Stone banding is like a fingerprint. We can carve the same shape twice, but the mountain never repeats its drawing.
